As the music world continues to mourn the sudden loss of Migos rapper Takeoff, who was shot and killed in Houston last week, his family is giving fans a chance to say goodbye; on Tuesday, Quality Control and Motown announced that a "celebration of life" will be held Friday (11/11) at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Takeoff's hometown.
Beginning at 2pm ET today (11/8), Georgia residents can secure two free tickets via Ticketmaster. Tickets are nontransferable and parties must enter the venue together. Doors open at 11am local time; the event will begin promptly at noon.
Takeoff's family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations be made to The Rocket Foundation, which was just launched to support community-based initiatives to prevent gun violence. Find more information here.
