Music City
ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH, OR AT LEAST PRETTY BUZZED
10/23/22

Midland descended on Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo. on 10/22 along with Range Media Partners' Jordan Dettmer and Matt Graham, Sandbox Entertainment's Todd Ramey and UTA's Brett Saliba.

From a haunting cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" to Thin Lizzy's "The Boys Are Back In Town" to the group's 2017 Grammy-nominated single "Drinkin' Problems," Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson and Cameron Duddy mesmerized the sold-out crowd with their effortless country swagger and electric stage presence. Combined with their prodigious musicianship, the two-hour set showcased the Big Machine artists' undeniable star power. But it was also an object lesson in the futility of trying to avoid us.

As the show concluded with a rousing rendition of Bruce Springsteen's 1984 hit "Dancing in the Dark," everyone ran onstage for a photo opp as a wall of 9k+ people looked on. They even (shockingly) agreed to let our operative take a few shots. Seen wondering if there's any corner of the world where HITS can't be found lurking are (l-r) Ramey, Saliba, Carson, Dettmer, Wystrach, Graham and Duddy.
