SMITH + PETRAS' "UNHOLY" UNION (UPDATE)

Capitol's Sam Smith connected with Kim Petras for "Unholy," the lead single from Smith's forthcoming fourth studio album. The collab is #1 on both Spotify and Apple Music's global charts.

The song has been fast-tracked at Spotify's Today's Top Hits, earning the top spot on the playlist, with Smith landing the cover. "Unholy" has been #1 at iTunes since its 9/22 release.

But fans embraced “Unholy” before its release, immediately using it to craft more than 300k TikTok creations and sending views of the first teaser north of 26m.

Smith produced the track in Jamaica with a team of hitmakers, including ILYA, Blake Slatkin, Cirkut, Omer Fedi and longtime collaborator Jimmy Napes.
