Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and Walker Hayes are set to be honored at this year’s CMT Artists of the Year ceremony.
Airing Oct. 14 at 9p.m. ET on CMT, the show assembles this year’s class at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center where they will be recognized for their achievements in country music over the past year.
Pearce, Hayes and Johnson are first-time honorees, while Combs and Brown were both previously recognized in 2021 and 2019.
“Carly, Cody, Kane, Luke and Walker all represent the vibrant future of the country music format, as they defy convention and blaze new trails, breaking industry records and genre barriers. We can’t wait to celebrate their extraordinary accomplishments alongside their fellow artists and friends,” said Margaret Comeaux, CMT SVP of production, music & events.
The 90-minute special will also feature artists collaborating and performing to celebrate the five honorees. Other special guests, additional honorees, performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
