Just signed to Darkroom/Interscope, 17-year-old sensation d4vd (pronounced "David") has taken DSPs by storm with his viral song "Romantic Homicide." The track reached a new peak of #6 on Spotify U.S. Sunday.
d4vd was inked by Darkroom's Justin Lubliner in tandem with Interscope's John Janick, Sam Riback and Matt Morris. Manager Josh Marshall of Mogul Vision and attorney Todd Rubenstein repped d4vd in the deal.
Previously a viral #1 on Spotify, d4vd has built a fan base using Fortnite and TikTok to share his music. He's partial to the music-production app BandLab, which he uses to create remixes of his own songs and recreations of other tracks.
