Republic boss Monte Lipman welcomes members of the Congressional Black Caucus to the label’s freshly inaugurated NYC studio space as part of an event hosted by Republic Records Action Committee (R2AC), a label task force dedicated to civic engagement, social justice and bolstering music’s role in cultural change. The confab was particularly focused on mobilizing voter participation in the forthcoming midterm elections. Later, there was a similarly illuminating tour of Post Malone's facial tattoos. Fun fact: Nobody pictured here has ever had to invoke the Fifth Amendment.
