Word has it that the pub derby for buzzing singer/songwriter Stephen Sanchez is done, and Zach Lund and David Gray of Jody Gerson's UMPG have prevailed. Attorney Peter Lewit ran herd on the proceedings.
Mercury/Republic troubadour Sanchez has seen TikTok and streaming action with single "Until I Found You," a shimmering slice of classic pop that, like Sanchez's other material, has invited comparisons to such artists as the Everly Brothers and Roy Orbison. The young breakout's full-length, Easy on My Eyes, is due 8/19.
Repped by Emily Kennedy and Rich Cohen of LoyalT Management, Sanchez is unique among younger acts because he's the sole writer of his material and retains 100% control.
