Luke Bryan will co-host the CMA Awards, which will be held 11/9, for the second consecutive year. His onstage teammate will be a rookie: former NFL QB Peyton Manning.
“When I was asked if Peyton Manning was someone I would consider co-hosting with I didn’t hesitate,” Bryan said. “We have become great friends through the years and what he brings to the table is gonna make it even more of a blast. I know he’s been to the CMA Awards before, but he’s never been with me. Hey Peyton, I hope you’re ready for the night of your life.”
Bryan announced the news this morning while guest-hosting Live With Kelly and Ryan.
Walt Disney Television EVP, Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment, Rob Mills said of the two hosts: “Their dynamic chemistry and magnetic friendship is the perfect anchor for this year’s star-studded show. Plus, I’ve got an old Colts jersey I hope Peyton will sign.”
The 56th annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on ABC.
