FOX SOUL TO AIR JUNETEENTH HONORS

FOX SOUL has partnered with The Juneteenth Foundation to air the inaugural Juneteenth Honors celebration on 6/19.

Highlighting Black excellence, history and artistry, the ceremony will honor the achievements of African American luminaries like Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, Maxwell, Omari Hardwick, Big Sean, Robert F. Smith, Cathy Hughes and Doug E. Fresh and confer $250k in scholarships on students attending HBCUs.

Hosted by Terrence J and MC Lyte, the event will take place at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C., at 7pm ET/4pm PT and will feature performances by T.I., Rick Ross, Ledisi, Keri Hilson, Shevonne and Domani.

“This is going to be one of the most special Juneteenth celebrations ever,” said Laquan Austion, CEO of The Juneteenth Foundation. “The musical talent and honorees are phenomenal cultural trailblazers and influencers who truly embody the culture of freedom.”
