Carrie Underwood is dressed for success this Flipover Friday as her Denim & Rhinestones (Capitol Nashville) sits atop the iTunes album chart. BTS rules iTunes songs.
BTS has four of the Top 5 songs at iTunes: “Yet to Come” at #1, “Run” at #3, “For Youth” at #4 and “Born Singer” at #5. Another eight BTS songs are in the Top 30. Their 35-track compilation, Proof (Big Hit/Geffen), is the only new arrival to enter the Top 10 in sales and streams; it’s #3 at iTunes and #8 at Apple Music.
But it’s a deluxe edition of SZA’s Ctrl (TDE/RCA) with seven new tracks that’s the top new arrival at Apple Music, coming in at #4 on the five-year anniversary of its initial release. New track “2AM” is already Top 40 at songs.
XXXTENTACION’s Look at Me: The Album (Bad Vibes Forever/Columbia) opens at #10.
Back at iTunes albums, Motionless in White’s Scoring the End of the World (Roadrunner) is #2, while two rookies on Atlantic open in the Top 10; Kelly Clarkson’s Kellyoke EP is #4 and Vance Joy’s In Our Own Sweet Time is #6.
