To celebrate the inking of hot DJ/producer ACRAZE to Capitol—in partnership with indie Thrive Music—Capitol Music Group Chair Michelle Jubelirer joined this buoyant photo op just before offering an enlightening tour of the legendary Tower. “Over here is where Frank Sinatra once bludgeoned Joey Bishop into unconsciousness with a soppressata,” she related. “While just down the hall is where The Beach Boys briefly dematerialized in 1967.” Seen soaking up the history are (l-r) Thrive CEO/founder Ricardo Vinas, Jubelirer, CMG President of A&R Jeremy Vuernick, ACRAZE, Syndicate Management’s Alex Akleh and Thrive GM/VP of A&R Carlos Alcala.

ACRAZE’s “Do It to It” f/Cherish (released via Thrive’s deal with CMG’s Virgin) has racked up 8.4b+ global streams after going supernova on TikTok, with remixes from the likes of Tiësto, Subtronics, Andrew Rayel, Sub Focus and Rated R. His North American tour kicks off this week at Hakkasan in Vegas.
