Rebecca “Dimplez” Ijeoma will co-lead Capitol Music Group’s digital department as SVP, Digital Marketing & Content Development, alongside CMG Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy, Business Development & Operations, Nicholas Osborne.
Reporting to CMG President Arjun Pulijal, Ijeoma will be based at the Tower.
Said Pulijal and CMG Chair/CEO Michelle Jubelirer in a joint statement, “Dimplez is a culture builder and thought leader in the digital space, and she is bringing to CMG all of the qualities that are synonymous with our new era; she's an artist-first executive who is highly innovative, creative, resourceful and inspiring to all who have the pleasure of working with her.”
Ijeoma spent the last four years leading her own marketing agency, IJEOMA, which has handled commercial sales and DSP strategy for Rostrum Records and digital and social-media strategy for Warner Music Group and been the de facto lifestyle-marketing, brand-partnership and digital-strategy apparatus for RCA Records. IJEOMA will continue under the leadership of Ijeoma's former partner, John King.
Prior to IJEOMA, the erstwhile journalist/publicist/social-media strategist was Director of Digital Marketing at CMG.
