MAX SHARES HIS VISION WITH SMP

Multiplatinum songwriter/artist MAX just signed a global admin deal with Sony Music Publishing, through which he'll establish Colour Vision Publishing.

His first signing is Cody Dear, who co-penned MAX's latest single, "Gucci Bag."


“MAX is a joy to be around and someone who seamlessly moves through many genres and musical styles," said SMP SVP of Creative Jennifer Knoepfle. "He is equally adept at writing for himself as he is for others." MAX's manager, Range Media's Evan Winiker, concurs: "He has a genuine ability to write with an artist and have it feel authentic to their world, then go in on his own project the next day and be right back in his space.”

MAX, who wowed during his first Coachella set just last month, is now gearing up for the release of BTS' upcoming single, "Yet to Come," on which he's a co-writer. (This isn't the first time he's worked with BTS; the group's SUGA is featured on MAX's "Blueberry Eyes," which has more than 182m streams just on Spotify—where MAX boasts more than 9.5m monthly listeners.) Next month, he heads to Europe for more of his Live in Colour tour dates.
