ONE ROSTER UNDER STREFF

Merch companies Bravado and Epic Rights—the former of which acquired the latter in 2019—are centralizing their licensing rosters. Epic Rights SVP Global Licensing Lisa Streff will oversee strategy for both. She'll report to Jesper Poulsen, who was promoted to GM of Bravado last month.

Streff joined Epic Rights as SVP of Licensing in 2014, taking on projects for everyone from KISS, AC/DC, Def Leppard, David Bowie and John Lennon to Britney Spears and NSYNC. The likes of The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, the Sex Pistols, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, the Spice Girls, Slipknot, The Weeknd, BLACKPINK and Avril Lavigne—to name a few—will now fall within her purview as well.

“We are continuing to grow our global licensing and retail business with a more unified and complementary strategy across both Bravado and Epic Rights while maintaining individual strategies and priorities," said Bravado President Matt Young. "With Jesper leading the team as General Manager and Lisa driving global licensing strategy, we have the right team in place to ensure growth for our artists in this area.”

“Since I joined Epic Rights, it has truly been an incredible ride to play an integral role in the growth of what was essentially a start-up organization to now being part of the biggest global merch company,” said Streff, who added that she's "honored and excited to collaborate." Poulsen, meanwhile, applauded the strategic alignment for giving the team "a competitive advantage unmatched in the industry."

To celebrate the colliding of worlds, we're changing the HITS phone number's hold music to this righteous Britney Spears x Slipknot mash-up.
