Two tracks from Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti (Rimas) hop straight up the Shazam USA Top 100’s biggest movers chart while U.K. users are bouncing through the late 20th century.
On his way to the year’s biggest debut week in sales, thumbs have pounced on two Bad Bunny tracks, “Despues de la Playa” and “Titi Me Pregunto.” Another new release, Jack Harlow’s “Churchill Downs” has thumbs wagging during the week of the Kentucky Derby.
As usual, a sync has revived an older track and this week it’s Santigold’s 2008 song “I’m a Lady” that was used in the Netflix film Along for the Ride.
U.K. Shazamers, meanwhile, are bouncing around the last three decades of the 20th century, singling out Blue Oyster Cult’s “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” from 1976, Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work” from 1988 and Santana’s “Maria Maria” from 1999.
