BMLG AND BLAC NOIZE! TEAM UP

Big Machine Label Group and Blac Noize! have partnered to sign and promote hip-hop and R&B acts globally.

The new label venture is focused on "creating an infrastructure that’s competitive with major labels but allows for a nimbler approach to releasing new music and developing new acts," according to the release. Hitkidd and Glorilla’s “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” serves as the label's first release. The track was signed and dropped within hours of closing the deal and has already amassed millions of views on YouTube, TikTok and DSPs.

“Big Machine’s independence has allowed us to break artists for over 16 years with an entrepreneurial drive and incredible speed,” said BMLG President/CEO/Founder and HYBE America Chairman of Labels, Scott Borchetta. “We are motivated to use that independence to expand our footprint and we couldn’t have found a better partner than Blac Noize! to sign and amplify artists in the Hip Hop and R&B formats.”

“This partnership with Big Machine not only allows Blac Noize! to scale artists globally, but our combined resources also allow us to be a much more artist friendly label in the marketplace,” added Blac Noize!’s Chioke StretchMcCoy.

Launched in 2020, Blac Noize! was founded by Active Management’s McCoy and 740 Project’s Managing Partners Jesse Punch Edwards, Rahim Wright and Charley Greenberg. 740 Project will continue to provide marketing support and counsel to artists signed through the BMLG and Blac Noize! partnership.
