BEST BUDDIES BRUNCH RAISES $450k

Best Buddies International, a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, raised $450k at its fifth annual Mother's Day Brunch in Malibu.

SALXCO Director of Philanthropy and Best Buddies talent-relations liaison and board member Rima Fakih Slaiby helped organize the Live Nation-backed event, which was hosted by Vivica A. Fox. Brandy performed.

The funds will expand the organization’s mission of inclusion through one-to-one friendships, leadership training, jobs and integrated living opportunities. The event celebrated mothers all around the world, particularly mothers of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Slaiby presented global ambassador Joshua Felder with the Excellence in Leadership Award. Brandy and SALXCO donated $50k.

Along with title sponsor Live Nation, support came from ABC Disney, Spotify, YouTube and the Wasserman Foundation.
