With no chance to continue his never-ending tour during the pandemic, Bob Dylan wrote another book. It comes out 11/8.
Simon & Schuster will publish The Philosophy of Modern Song, Dylan’s first book of new writing since 2004’s Chronicles, Volume One.
The Philosophy of Modern Song, which Dylan started in 2010, contains more than 60 essays on songs by other artists—Stephen Foster to Elvis Costello, Hank Williams to Nina Simone.
Dylan will narrate a portion of the audiobook.
