AUDIO UP EXPANDS WITH PJ BLOOM & CHRISTINE KAUFFMAN

Audio Up is bolstering its executive ranks with two new hires. PJ Bloom has been named Co-President of Music and Christine Kauffman has been appointed EVP, Brand Strategy and Partnerships.

Said Audio Up founder/CEO Jared Gutstadt, "I could not be more excited to have PJ and Christine join our Audio Up family. They truly understand the power of great content. We have a 360-degree approach to our music-based content and having PJ and Christine in play represents how TV, music and brands will become part of the Audio Up strategy.”

Bloom (right), who serves as Co-President with John Ingrassia, arrives at Audio Up with 25+ years of industry experience. With global soundtrack sales tallying more than 50m singles and 15m albums, Bloom previously served as lead music supervisor for the Glee franchise. He’s also earned a Grammy nom and won awards from the Guild of Music Supervisors, BMI, ASCAP and more. Most recently Warner Records SVP of Film & Television Music and Soundtracks, he said, “At a time when innovation and disruption are rewarded within the music and media ecosystems, I am so excited to join a company on the cutting edge of the entertainment experience."

Kauffman arrives from Giant Step, where she served as Head of Strategic Marketing and Brand Partnerships. She also spent time as SVP of Brand Partnerships at Island Records (UMG), where she worked with artists like Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato and Jessie Reyez. Beginning her career with marketing and sales roles at EMI Music, UMG and DreamWorks Records, Kauffman spent more than a decade in marketing and business-development roles at iHeartMedia, Condé Nast, The Daily Beast and InStyle.
