QC's QUALITY FILMS SCORES A CRITICAL PARTNERSHIP

QC's Quality Films has struck a partnership with Critical Content to develop unscripted original series for its roster of artists and athletes.

The new pact builds on the recent collaboration between QC and Critical for the YouTube Original Home Courts, starring Quavo. In the series, which premieres 12/16, the Migos captain visits legendary local basketball courts around the country to meet the athletes, artists and activists who use these public spaces to effect change in their communities. The show was spearheaded by QC Films President Brian Sher.

Critical and QC will also collaborate on Equal Justice, a social experiment that will follow hip-hop stars as they leverage their fame and resources to secure top attorneys, fair trials and better outcomes for indigent defendants across the country. The project will be pitched, with QC talent attached, to networks and streamers at the top of the new year.

Said QC COO Coach K, “I've been a fan of [Critical CEO] Tom [Foreman]’s work for many years and have recently gotten to know him on a personal level. He clearly understands the culture and knows how to develop the kinds of unscripted projects Quality Films wants to be a part of.”

Current Critical productions include Catfish (MTV), Get Organized With the Home Edit (Netflix), Celebrity Game Face With Kevin Hart (E!), The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals (Netflix), The Great Food Truck Race (Food Network) and Cheap Old Houses (HGTV). The new partnership follows the launch of QC's podcast network, Vocal.
