Quality Control Music has upped three executives; Simone Mitchell is appointed President as Tamika Howard is promoted to EVP and Amber Mitchell is elevated to VP of Artist Relations.
“These powerful Black women are the executives who run much of the show for us. Watching them come up through the ranks and impact our artists the way they have is something I’m so thankful for and proud to have witnessed,” said QC CEO Pierre “P” Thomas.
"These women are the backbone of the QC family and have had their hands in building some of the best musical careers in rap. Their promotions are well earned,” added QC COO Kevin “Coach K” Lee.
Having joined QC in 2014, Mitchell has helped shape the careers of artists like Migos, City Girls, Layton Greene and Lakeyah. She will now oversee operations for the entire music and management division.
Howard, who arrived at QC in 2013, has worked with Lil Baby, Migos and Lil Yachty and will now supervise business operations for QC’s ventures in music and beyond.
Mitchell began working at QC in 2017 and has played a role in the careers of City Girls and Layton Greene, among others. She’ll oversee and manage the logistics of touring, press and promo tours, awards shows and more for QC’s roster.
