Team Columbia has dominated the airwaves with Adele's "Easy on Me," which impacted radio on Friday. The single earned the fastest 24-hour launch of 2021 and the fastest of Adele's career, surpassing the debut of "Hello."
Adele's new single racked up 4,000+ plays in 24 hours on 400+ stations at eight different formats. That's 1,700 more spins than "Hello" received its first day—good enough for the hottest start at radio for a single in 2021.
Peter Gray captained Team Columbia to the Top 3 most-played tracks at Pop on Friday, with The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber's "Stay" (2,762 spins), Lil Nas X's "INDUSTRY BABY" (2,322 spins) and the aforementioned "Easy on Me" (2,280 spins).
We reached out to Gray for comment but all we got was this selfie from outside the BTS bus, parked in the middle of nowhere.
