Harry Styles, Lianne La Havas, Dave and Celeste are among the winners of the 2021 Ivor Awards, bestowed at a ceremony in London Tuesday.
Celeste and songwriter Jamie Hartman were crowned Songwriter of the Year for their work in 2020, which included the former’s #1 debut album, Not Your Muse.
Best Album went to La Havas for her self-titled third set, which was written with Matthew Hales. “Children of the Internet” by Dave and Fraser T Smith won Best Contemporary Song, while Best Song Musically and Lyrically went to Obongjayar and Barney Lister for “God’s Own Children.”
The second Rising Star Award was awarded to 20-year-old Bristol-born artist and Columbia signing Willow Kayne. Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory were recognized with The Ivors Inspiration Award for their work as Goldfrapp.
“Adore You,” performed and written by Styles with Amy Allen, Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon, won the PRS for Music Most Performed Work of 2020.
