SHARON DASTUR GOES GLOBAL

Radio vet Sharon Dastur has joined media and entertainment group Global as Senior Programming & Content Advisor.

In her new role, Dastur will serve as a U.S. liaison to artist managers and record labels while working closely with Global’s Talent & Artist team in London. She will report to James Rea, Global’s Director of Broadcasting.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Dastur, who got her start at KRBE Houston, has served as SVP of Programming at Z100 N.Y., SVP of Programming Initiatives at iHeartRadio and most recently, SVP of Promotion at Republic.
