ROD WAVE & YOUNGBOY KICK OFF KAWHI'S CULTURE JAM

(Kawhi Leonard & Eesean Bolden)

NBA champion Kawhi Leonard and A&R hitter Eesean Bolden have joined forces to produce Culture Jam (Virgin), a compilation album uniting hip-hop, basketball and community.

The full project will be released in summer 2021; on Friday, Bolden and Leonard released the first track off the album, "Everything Different," the highly anticipated collaboration between streaming superstars YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Rod Wave.

The video for the track, directed by Rook and produced by Edgar Estevez, stars top-ranked high school prospect, Mikey Williams.

Culture Jam is executive produced by Bolden, currently SVP of A&R at Warner. Sports business maven Michelle Obeso-Theus, whose deep-rooted relationships led to the connections between athletes and entertainers on the project, serves as the biz development exec.

The album will will see hip hop’s and sports biggest stars come together to celebrate the intersection of these worlds with a collective pledge from artists and athletes to support youth sports and arts initiatives that are dear to them. Through a personal commitment to honor the late Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s legacy, Kawhi will donate a portion of his earnings from the project to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating positive impact for underserved athletes and young women.
