TODAY IN FESTIVALS: STEVIE & JAY-Z

Today, on Stevie Nicks’ 73rd birthday, Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Music Festival announced that the Fleetwood Mac songstress would be headlining their October festival with The Strokes and Run the Jewels.

The eighth Shaky Knees Music Festival will take place 10/22-24 at Central Park in downtown Atlanta. Among the more than 60 bands performing on four stages are Alice Cooper, St. Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers and Royal Blood. Tickets go on sale today.

Shaky Knees joins a growing list of festivals and tours going on sale this week, including Willie Nelson’s 14-stop Outlaw Music Festival Tour with Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, Margo Price, Yola and others; the Jay-Z-curated Made in America on 9/4-5 in Philadelphia (no lineup yet); and Chicago’s Riot Fest, which has added Dropkick Murphys, Rancid, Machine Gun Kelly and Knuckle Puck.

Slipknot will host a one-day Knotfest on 9/25 at the National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, Iowa. Supporting the metal band will be Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb of God and others.
