Pearl Jam fans, this is your nirvana: The venerable Seattle band has uploaded more than 180 live shows to Spotify and Apple Music, beginning with a May 2000 date in Lisbon and wrapping up with a July 2014 gig in Leeds. Through the years, Pearl Jam has released official concert bootlegs on CD or via download on its own website, but this new cache is the first to hit DSPs.
The shows have been cataloged on a new website, deep.pearljam.com, where users can find entire shows, create their own setlists or rock out to custom playlists. Last March, the band released Gigaton (Monkeywrench/Republic), its first studio album in seven years, but the subsequent tour was postponed. Pearl Jam has booked new dates in Europe for 2022 but has yet to reschedule shows for North America.
In the meantime, fire up the old digital device and hoist your lighters high.
