UMG ALIGNS WITH X FACTOR ISRAEL

Simon Cowell’s The X Factor has expanded its relationship with Universal Music Group in Israel by signing future winners of The X Factor Israel to a global recording deal with UMG Israel, in collaboration with Cowell’s entertainment company Syco.

Cowell will join an international judging panel on Israeli network RESHET 13 alongside singer-songwriter Aviv Geffen, Eurovision winner Netta Barzliai and singer Margalit Tzanani. The show’s fourth season will premiere later this year.

“We are proud that this collaboration between leading international brands is taking place in Israel,” said Yoram Mokady, Managing Director of Universal Music Israel. “This partnership with The X Factor is the first of several major projects that UMG Israel will launch in the coming months as we look to expand the profile of Israeli music around the world.”

Runners-up will be interrogated by Mossad.
