DEJA VU 'S DEJA VU

On 5/14 Rhino will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's 1970 classic, Déjà Vu, with the release of a 4-CD/1-LP collection featuring more than two hours of rare and unreleased demos, outtakes and alternate takes.

Among the goodies: “Know You Got to Run,” the first song the quartet recorded, and a previously unreleased demo version of Young's "Birds," the latter available digitally today. Vinyl fans can purchase a 5-LP version exclusively at CSNY50.com and Rhino.com.

In his liner notes, Cameron Crowe said of the bonanza: “50 years later, with the sonic aperture fully opened, it’s a wide-screen look at the big picture of Déjà Vu, with more music, including a batch of surprises, unseen photos and a lot more clarity."

And in case you thought collectible merchandise was only for pop stars and rappers nowadays, there’s a new line of Déjà Vu-themed merch, also available at CSNY50.com and Rhino.com.
