ADEBIYI FLOATS WITH VENICE

Venice, the music and technology platform of Troy Carter and Suzy Ryoo’s Q&A, has named Theresa Adebiyi Director, Audience and Culture. She will work alongside Matt Ott, VP of Artist Development and Strategy, who heads the U.K. office.

Adebiyi was formerly Creative Director and Project Manager at Partisan, where she collaborated on global album campaigns for Fontaines D.C. and Laura Marling, among others. She also spent time at Ninja Tune.

“Theresa’s proven track record in creative marketing, running a label and artist advocacy is unrivaled. She truly understands how to work within and across an artist’s team,” Carter said. “More broadly, Theresa is a well-loved and respected figure in the U.K. industry and a welcome new member of the Venice family.”

Venice was established late last year to allow labels to beta-test songs, manage artist rosters and distribute music.
