GLOBAL GAINS: BAD BUNNY, MALUMA GO BIG
UPDATE: Bad Bunny's "Dakiti" hit 8m streams on Friday's global chart, earning the second biggest single-day streams for the year on Spotify Global.
Bad Bunny has a monster on his hands with his latest single, "Dakiti" f/Jhay Cortez (Rimas). The new collab piled up 53m streams on Spotify's Global Weekly chart—the biggest week on the platform in 2020 to date. It's also been trading #1 and #2 at Apple Music's Worldwide chart with Ariana Grande's "positions" all week.
The 53m mark for "Dakiti" means it's edged out The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights."
If you add together streams of Maluma's "Hawái" and "Hawái–Remix," the track has amassed 36m streams, which lands the Sony Latin star at #2 for the week.
Justin Bieber reached a new peak with his anthem "Holy" f/Chance The Rapper—in its fourth week, the song hit #5 on the Global Weekly chart.
Lele Pons also reached a new peak, at #24, with "Se Te Nota" (10:22pm/UMG).
