LIVE NATION HAS A SHOW THIS WEEKEND

Live Nation is putting on a show this week in a club. One with paying customers, live music, reduced capacity and beverage service. And one more thing…

It’s in New Zealand. Hey! You’ve got to start somewhere.

Beginning Friday, Live Nation, backed by Vodafone, is presenting the Together Again series at The Tuning Fork in Auckland. Featuring a rotating line-up of local musicians, comedians and performers, Friday’s show features comedian Urzila Carlson while singer-songwriter Hollie Smith will headline on Saturday.

“Live Nation NZ is excited to be welcoming back live events in New Zealand,” Live Nation New Zealand Chairman Stuart Clumpas said. “The Together Again series is an opportunity for us to unite and celebrate the power of live with some of the country’s first socially distanced shows.

“Our staff have been working extremely hard to get the doors open again and we aim to deliver not only a great live experience but also one that adheres to all the extra health and safety precautions and measures that line up with the government advice for events at level two.”

Among the precautions being taken are: temperature screening upon entry; capacity reduced to 100 people; staff wearing masks and gloves; and drinks and snacks delivered via table service.
