Apple Music experiences a shakeup this flipover Friday as five newcomers debut in the Top 10, led by Lil Durk’s Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 (Alamo). Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U” (Silent Records/Def Jam/Republic) goes straight to #1 at iTunes songs.
Lil Durk is the only rookie to land in the Top 10 on three charts today. Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 is #2 at Apple Music and #7 at iTunes albums, and his track with Lil Baby & Polo G, “3 Headed Goat,” is #10 at Apple Music songs.
The albums rolling in streams and sales are Kehlani’s It Was Good Until It Wasn’t (TSNMI/Atlantic), which is #3 at Apple Music and tops the iTunes albums chart; the third album from NAV, Good Intentions (XO/Republic), #4 in streams and #8 in sales, and Chris Brown & Young Thug’s Slime & B (CBE/RCA), #6 at Apple Music, #9 at iTunes. Lil Tjay’s State of Emergency (Columbia) is #7 at Apple Music.
Other new albums in the iTunes Top 10 are Randy Rogers & Wade Bowen’s Hold My Beer Vol. 2 (Lil’ Buddy Toons) at #3,
Hayley Williams’ Petals For Armor (Atlantic) at #4, and Butch Walker’s American Love Story (Ruby Red) at #6.
Besides Grande & Bieber’s duet, the other newbie on iTunes songs is IU f/Suga’s “Eight” (Kako M) at #5. A bit further down on the chart is anew song from Bob Dylan.
