The second album from rapper-singer Rod Wave (Alamo/Geffen) is making a splash at Apple Music and iTunes this flipover Friday while Drake’s latest opens in the Top 3 on both lists.
Wave’s Pray 4 Love, the follow-up to Ghetto Gospel, is #1 at Apple Music and eight of its tracks are in the Top 20 at Apple Music, led by the title song at #2.
Drake’s “Toosie Slide” (OVO/Republic) tops the Apple Music songs chart and is #3 at iTunes songs where Thomas Rhett’s song to benefit Coronavirus relief efforts, “Be a Light” f/Reba McEntire, Hilary Scott, Chris Tomlin & Keith Urban (BMLG) is #1.
The iTunes albums chart has an all-new Top 8 led by the eighth album by All Time Low, Wake Up, Sunshine (Fueled By Ramen), at #1.
It took six years, but Sam Hunt’s second full-length, Southside (MCA Nashville), has arrived and it’s #2. The second major label album from Ashley McBryde, Never Will (Warner Nashville), is #4.
A trio of hard rockers open in the Top 10: Red’s seventh album Declaration (The Fuel) is #3; the ninth full-length from August Burns Red, Guardians (Fearless), fires up at #5; and
Phish Sigma Oasis #6 and Testament, which has been releasing music for 33 years, is #7 with their 13th album Titans of Creation (Nuclear Blast).
The fourth album from bassist-singer Thundercat, It Is What It Is (Brainfeeder) is #8.
