BIG DEAL’S TRANSATLANTIC COUP

Big Deal Music pointed out Tuesday morning that the indie pubco’s writers have notched #1 records on both sides of the Atlantic.

Nashville-based Ben Goldsmith has his first chart-topper with “Homemade,” a co-write with releasing artist Jake Owen, along with Jared Mullins, Bobby Pinson and Drew Parker.

Meanwhile, in the U.K., Niall Horan’s Heartbreak Weather album, which debuted at #1, boasts contributions from Big Deal/Big Family writers John Ryan, Julian Bunetta and Teddy Geiger, along with production for Afterhrs. Bunetta played a key role in the album's construction, writing and producing on nine of the 14 tracks.

“This is a challenging time for everyone, and we are all in uncharted waters,” said Big Deal CEO Kenny MacPherson acknowledged. “We take great pride in our writers day in and day out, and it’s obviously our hope for their work to have impact, so it’s a privilege to share these achievements with our community.”
