WARNER UPS DENTON TO SVP

Aaron Bay-Schuck has promoted Norva Denton to Senior Vice President of A&R for Warner Records. Based in L.A., he reports to CEO and Co-Chairman Bay-Schuck.

“Norva is the perfect fit for our revitalized A&R department, as he brings youthful energy, solid relationships, and a strong marketing background in addition to his A&R expertise,” Bay-Schuck said.

Denton joined Warner Records in 2018 as Director of A&R, during the rebrand of the label under the leadership of Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson. Denton signed Wale and produced his comeback album. He got his start in 2008 as West Coast Regional Director at Motown/Island Def Jam.

Denton said, “I’m continuously searching for the next generation of great talent and I look forward to building upon our unstoppable roster of artists.”
