ROD CELEBRATES 75 WITH A U.S. TOUR

Cash will be flowing in on Rod Stewart’s 75th birthday this Friday as tickets go on sale for his summer tour with Cheap Trick.

Produced by Live Nation, the 21-city summer tour opens 7/21 in Cleveland and wraps 9/5 in Chicago with a stop at NY's Jones Beach on 8/14 and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on 8/19. He does not have an L.A.  stop yet as no West Coast dates were announced.

Presales begin today for fan club members and Citi cardholders.

Stewart will discuss the tour, which marks his 50 years as a solo performer and follows his hitting #1 in the U.K. with You’re In My Heart, on Friday’s edition of Entertainment Tonight.
