Live Nation and Rod Stewart have struck an exclusive multi-year global touring partnership that will begin with this summer’s sold-out U.K. stadium dates.
Live Nation will produce and promote Stewart’s concert events around the world. Stewart will perform across the U.K. and Europe throughout 2019 and in 2020 will tour South America, Australia, Asia and New Zealand. He toured North America over the summers of 2017 and 2018 with Cyndi Lauper.
“With Live Nation’s backing, I’m able to show up and sing knowing that everything that has led up to me taking the stage has been done with cracking perfection,” Stewart said.
Arnold Stiefel, chairman of Stiefel Entertainment and Stewart’s longtime manager, inked the deal and had nothing but praise for Michael Rapino and Rick Franks, Co-President of North American Touring.
“Their single-minded focus on the fan and artist experience is second to none and we’re proud to be extending our partnership internationally,” he said.
