HBO’s Watchmen puts Nataly Dawn’s 2017 version of the Wham! hit “Careless Whisper” on the chart while Walmart shoppers continue to find Lizzo’s “Water Me” as appealing as a half-off sale on tube socks.
The Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” (Warner), which premiered in the film City of Angels 21 years ago, rises after a placement on ABC’s A Million Little Things. In October, it was used in the YouTube series Impulse.
Bastille continues to be the greatest gainer in the U.K. where songs by P!nk are getting thumbs wagging this week.
