International superstar Nicky Jam has re-signed with Sony Music Latin in a multimillion-dollar record deal. Upon signing, he also announced the long-awaited reunion of Los Cangris, his collaboration with Daddy Yankee.
Inking the deal on 11/18, Sony Music Latin Iberia Chairman/CEO Afo Verde said, "Nicky is a priority for Sony, and despite being already a legend, we feel he still has everything ahead. We are honored and happy to continue working together in the search for greater things."
Also present to celebrate the new deal were the singer's manager, Juan Diego Medina Velez, Nicky Jam attorney David Daza and President of Sony Music U.S. Latin Alex Gallardo.
Nicky Jam added, "Sony Music Latin is my house; that is how I consider it, so it is a great pride and an honor that they are putting their trust in my music again. Always grateful as the first time."
Gallard stated, "At Sony we are very proud that Nicky feels at home. After many years working with him and his team we have already become a family. Everyday that passes we have a renewed ambition and big dreams and goals to achieve."
