FOOS LOOK BACK

The Foo Fighters have dropped their seventh collection of rarities this year, 02050525 (Roswell/RCA), as Dave Grohl and company prepare to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band in 2020.

The latest set, a six-song collection, includes covers of The Passions’ “I’m in Love With a German Film Star” and Jawbreaker’s “Kiss the Bottle” plus the B-sides “Spill” and “FFL (Fat Fucking Lie).”

Last month, their 01020225 featured covers of B-52’s and Tom Petty tunes; the one before that had them tackling Arcade Fire and Dead Kennedys. One EP was a 2011 concert in London, another was five tracks performed at a studio in Northridge in 2007.
