KELLY BETS ON VEGAS

Following the path of her fellow coach on The Voice, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson will do a Las Vegas residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Currently balancing judging duties on The Voice and her new daytime talkshow, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson’s Live Nation-produced Invincible will open 4/1 and play 4/3-4, 10-11. Apparently a fan of very warm weather, she returns to Vegas in July (29, 31) and August (1, 5, 7, 8) then September (18, 19, 23, 25, 26). Presale for the shows begins Monday.

“So many of my musical idols have had, and still have, incredible residencies on The Strip, and I’m so excited to create my own,” Clarkson said.

She announced the residency on her show today and pulled an Oprah with free ducats for the audience.
