It seems Las Vegas casinos are committed to stacking the deck with superstar talent, as Mark Ronson signs on as the first resident DJ at On The Record, a speakeasy and club at Park MGM, the newest spot on The Strip.
Page Six reports that Ronson has agreed to DJ twelve dates at On The Record in 2019, with his residency debut set for Saturday, 2/2.
“It was important to us for Mark to be OTR’s first resident because he embodies musically what we’re trying to achieve in the club," explained Sean Christie, President of Nightlife and Events for MGM Resorts International.
Ronson just won a "Best Original Song – Motion Picture" Golden Globe with Lady Gaga for A Star Is Born's "Shallow," and is the favorite to do the same at the upcoming Academy Awards on 2/24.
