JAXSTA STARTS GIVING CREDIT

Jaxsta is rolling credits. Positioned to be the world’s largest source of official credit information, Jaxsta has launched an open beta of its music database platform.

Jacqui Louez Schoorl and Louis Schoorl’s website is content-owner supplied information about artists, musicians, songwriters, producers, engineers and other members of the music community. It contains more than 100m credits for 19m recordings and includes 5m individual production credits; 4m profiles; and 2.5m album/single/soundtrack releases.

Jaxsta expects to increase the total number of credits within the platform by 30% before the conclusion of its open beta.

“With the launch of our open beta we are proud to unveil what promises to be the world’s largest source of official music credit information, and the platform which gives artists, musicians, songwriters, producers, engineers and all involved with the creation of music ‘credit where credit is due’,” says

Jaxsta CEO Jacqui Louez Schoorl.

Later this year they will unveil Jaxsta Pro.

Over the last two years, Jaxsta has gained access to the credits of more than 80% of global music releases via agreements with companies such as The Official Charts Co., The RIAA, The Recording Academy, Sony Music, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group. More partners will be announced in the coming months.
