CAPALDI'S NEWEST COLLABORATORS

As fans filtered out of last night's filmed, three-song event in Capitol's famed studio space, rising star Lewis Capaldi popped into the control room to find HITS' Ranya Khoury (left), Samantha Hissong (center) and Capitol Global Commercial Marketing exec Jen Ashworth.

Khoury informed Capaldi that his recently released album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, served as the sole soundtrack to her last breakup. Hissong then suggested new merch in the form of branded Kleenex, prompting Ashworth to send 72 texts in two minutes.

Based on this photo, we expect the four-piece will drop their super serious hip-hop mixtape any moment now.

Capaldi, whose cover of Billie Eilish's "when the party's over" just scored prime placement on Spotify's Today's Top Hits playlist, will play to a sold-out crowd at L.A.'s Fonda Theatre tonight, before heading back to the U.K.
