Spirited Glassnote songstress Jade Bird appeared on Fallon the other night to play her new single, "I Get No Joy," showcasing her adept lyricism and supercharged vocals.
The song's currently Top 15 at Triple A radio. Bird, who's confirmed with slots at this year's Shaky Knees, Hangout and Newport Folk festivals, just wrapped a series of U.S. dates supporting Hozier. She hits the road with Father John Misty and Jason Isbell in June.
Her eponymous debut full-length is due to drop this Friday, 4/19. To properly celebrate the occasion, we hear Daniel Glass is getting his very own iridescent jumpsuit made.
