FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Kenny Chesney’s Songs for the Saints (Blue Chair/Warner Nashville) sails in at #1 on the iTunes albums chart this flipover Friday while his single “Get Along” is docked at #17 on the songs chart.

This morning, Chesney tweeted about the album: “It's more personal than anything I’ve done. There’s a lot of seeking, a lot of healing and definitely songs about how we face things. This album is about lifting people up and reminding them what they’re made of.”

The eighth album from Cody Jinks, Lifers (Rounder), opens at #2, one slot ahead of Halestorm Vicious (Atlantic). At #4 is Daughtry’s first album in five years, Cage to Rattle (19/RCA).

Queen Naija’s self-titled EP from Capitol is #6 at iTunes and the top new arrival at Apple Music, stepping in at #3. G Herbo & Southside’s Swervo (Machine) is #4 at Apple Music and sitting just outside the Top 10 at iTunes.

New titles from Denzel Curry, Rise Against and Boz Scaggs also sit just outside the Top 10 at iTunes.
