"Since you guys haven't done a HITS photo op in a while, let me get you back up to speed," says Jon Cohen (r) to Nick Gross (l) and John Feldmann, his partners in new hybrid music company Big Noise. "You just look into the camera and smile, and then they ask you for money."
The new firm will combine label, publishing and live events, and features a badass recording studio. Cohen formerly ran the label side at BMG; Grammy-nominated producer/artist Feldmann (Goldfinger, blink-182, 5 Seconds of Summer, Panic! At the Disco) did A&R for BMG and Red Bull; and Gross is a drummer/entrepreneur who notes that the new entity will also embrace brands and philanthropy.
