Universal and Amblin Entertainment's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom debuted with around $150m, marking only the second time two different films each opened with more than $100m over consecutive weeks. That said, Disney and Pixar's Incredibles 2 scored $80.9m in its second week out. According to Box Office Mojo, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End ($114.7m) followed Shrek the Third ($121.6m) back in 2007.
The dino-filled blockbuster also joined 17 markets in its third weekend of international release, bowing at #1 in 16 of them. As for the total so far, it's at $711.5m, making it the third biggest global release of the year.
