REVENUE CHART: “GOD” IS GOOD; “BLOOD” LINES UP

Drake’s “God’s Plan” continues its run as top earner, pulling in another $221.7k, the bulk of it from streams. The same can be said of fellow leaderboard occupants Post Malone, Drizzie’s homie Blocboy, XXXtentacion, Lil Dicky/Chris Brown, Rich the Kid, Migos and even—to a lesser extent—genre-hopping collaborators Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line.

But the most intriguing entry in the Top 50 Song Revenue Chart is “In My Blood,” the lead single from Shawn Mendes’ sophomore album, which debuts on the chart at #6 and could be primed to become a contender for top moneymaker in the weeks to come as this superstar in waiting builds momentum.

A second advance track, the silkily soulful “Lost in Japan,” bowed at #18, giving Mendes a total of $190k in American dollars; go to your preferred currency converter for the equivalent in loonies and toonies. Between Drake and Shawn, the trade deficit is getting worrisome.

Marketshare scoreboard: UMG 59%, WMG 20%, SME 17%, Indies 2%
